Etna Winter Excursions 2026 🌋
A complete Etna Jeep and Trekking excursion suitable for everyone, to visit the craters and the volcanic cave inside.
Every day, including holidays, we organize a complete Etna tour, suitable for everyone, lasting half a day, to the authorized areas, to safely visit the most important and active areas of Etna.
Upon reservation, we depart from our meeting point using our comfortable authorized 4×4 vehicles, heading northeast of Etna. After a couple of kilometers behind our vehicles, we’ll stop inside the Etna Park in an area accessible with authorized guides, as there are approximately 45 lateral craters. We’ll go on a “walk” trek there (even in case of snow).
After a light hike of about 40 minutes, we’ll reach the top of the lateral craters, one of which still includes an open volcanic conduit inside, where we’ll look out to observe the true size of a crater on Etna.
In this area, we’ll observe all types of lava, minerals, volcanic desert, and pioneer plants of our Etna volcano.
Finally, aboard our vehicles, we will travel to the eastern side of Etna, where, equipped with headlamps and helmets provided by us, we will visit small volcanoes inside the “Volcanic Cave” and a volcanic expansion chamber.
The Etna tour is suitable for everyone, including families with children.
The visit to Etna will take place in areas of volcanic and scientific interest with a qualified guide, taking you to authorized areas in complete safety.
The tour is available year-round, including holidays, up to authorized areas, depending on volcanological and snow conditions.
*Since we already have all the necessary authorizations for both the vehicles and for access to the Etna Park, there are no additional costs.
Authorized 4×4 vehicles (minivans or 4×4 jeeps with driver) will be made available to participants to reach and complete the tour within the Etna National Park.
Excursions operate every day of the year, including holidays, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Easter.
